Lovely Lovely Oxford...........

it has been two months since I last posted..... has been busy enjoying my new life here... Fresh air, new friends, new lifestyle...

surprisingly... I enjoyed my study life a lot a lot. I thought I would never want to study again... but it turns out studying is quite interesting.. esp if you have the study who is the same calibre as you... you involve in discussions.... talk about group work.... do research.... I really enjoy and treasure this great opportunity!

not to mention all the culture activities I have been attending. Thx to Ana, a girl from Romania, I think she is quite young but she have a lot of culture interest, we went to ballet workshop held by the English National Ballet... (oh god... have you ever had a live flute player? it is AMAZING.... great combination with the elegant dance move... )

this is just in introduction.. I will write more later..... (haha plus.. this is also my assignment at the end of the year) I have to write a diary in Oxford as an assignment!

(hum... maybe I will add a new blog just for oxford... as the Big Apple chapter should be closed!

8 years ago I was sitting in front of the TV screen with my colleague. The TV reporter announced Beijing will be the host of the 2008 Olympic games. We looked at each other and wondered.... where will both of us be and what will we be doing in 2008?

8 years later.... The opening day of the Olympics days is also my last day at MS. and I have also lost contact with my colleague.... I am sure somewhere in the world she is also wondering where is Eva....

The 100 billion RMB opening ceremony was certainly jaw-dropping. It is amazing how 2 weeks of games and competition create such a hype during the last 8 years. So what is the implications? How is Beijing going to carry on in the future?

08.08.08 it is also an important day for me. I have closed a very interesting chapter of my life and opening another unknown chapter....

What to do for one month in NY?

people keep asking and I kept thinking... Should I travel within the states? Other than the bachelorette party at Vegas... other places I will have to go by myself and thatz no fun....

When I was attending the Juillard school of music conceret at MoMa last nite... I just came to realize.. why dont I stay at the City and really SEE the city?

With all the free events and fee admission to the world-class museum.. why dont I make use of it while I am here?

This is like the summer month that I never had when I was in University.. Imagine, if I have a month.. what would I do?

and on the side.. I will get back to my fitness regime and cook for Sally-chan with yummy soup. and maybe make use of my final month of health insurance and go for accupunture..

I guess I never really get to ENJOY the city since I was too bothered with work... so...

in retrospect, One month in NY? thatz the best thing that can ever happen! I have my apartment and I still have my MS benefits!

I regret to inform you that I will be turning in my 2 weeks notice. It has great working for you and the whole group. I have learnt a lot and I treasure the time I have spent here.

Be careful what you wish for?

I have always heard this saying from my friend...

Remember on my 28th birthday in Tokyo... my wish was to have a loving relationship.. and I am willing to have take my promising career for it...

and now I have this wonderful man by my side.... but my career seems to be kind of in limbo..

haha i guess you can have it all.. but just not at the same time = ) I guess one cannot be greedy..
